~Please pray for the unemployed and homeless of Kansas City.
Today we had a family contact us and ask for prayer. Mom, Dad, and two children are living in a hotel and have no way to provide for their needs.
Yesterday, WDAF-TV reported that the unemployment and homeless rates are on the rise in Kansas City. In just one day 116 people had to be turned away from the City Union Mission in Kansas City. 60 of them were children from the metro. The numbers continue to stay higher than normal and increasing during the summer. Kansas City agencies and churches have all run out of resources to help them.
